Tilton Motorsports was started in 2003 when Jacob Tilton @ 7yrs old wanted to race go-karts. He became a member of the world karting association and raced 50cc Kid Karts until 8 years old. At the end of his karting career, he had 4 wins and 12 top five finishes.
Jacobs next phase in his career is the Bandolero series (750 pound stock car with 30HP motors) as of 2005. Jacob currently has 25 wins, 76 top 5's, and one championship in this division.
Finally, Jacob has moved to the Late Model/Super Late Model series as well as the Charger Car Division. These are full 3100lb stock cars the same as you see on TV with the NASCAR Nationwide Series. TMS plan is to have Jacob race small tracks such as Lake Havasu Az, Blythe Ca, & Orange Show, Ca from 12-16yrs old. Once Jacob reaches 16yrs old, he will start racing larger tracks like the Las Vegas Bullring and Irwindale, Ca.
